Hi my name is Corey. I have just started my first african tank. It is a 90 gallon tank and I am looking forward to having some crazy and colorful new fish. I have a 55 gallon freshwater fish tank which I started with, and decided to take the challenge and go for a tougher fish. Any help will be great.

lol no I am keeping it somewhat simple for now. I have had my tank up for 3 weeks now. I was just in a pet store today that deals only with cichlids. They have some unique species. The first fish I put in my tank was a Red Imperial. I believe that is what it is called. Anyways it started out as a silver looking fish and now has a blue face and a red body. I never new that the fish would change color. My normal freshwater tank is a little boring compared to these guys.
welcome to mfk... nice to meet you...love those africans... love their splendid stunning colors... due to mood changes and breeding... so unique to see them mature into a totally different fish... please post up pics when you can in the african reef forum... if you have any questions let me know...
