Ok. I own a 29 gallon saltwater tank. I have 20 pounds of live rock (i know im about 10 pounds off right now) 5 pounds of live sand and 5 pounds of regular sand. I have a green oddysea canister filter on my tank along with a smaller 10-15 gallon pump on my tank. the canister filter filters 1500 L an hour. I also have a double vase decoration in my tank for my fish to hide in when someone they do not know is in the tank. I also have a spiny oyster shell in the tank that one of my fish tends to hide in alot.
As far as fish go, I have a spotted dogface puffer named Cujo. Cujo was bought from a fish place here on the coast and he was stressed out and refused to eat. After being in my tank for about 3 hours, he was mouthing my rocks wanting to eat.
I also have a black yellow tail chromis named Chrome. My ex got him for me when I was starting out in saltwater. I will admit, I was torturous putting him in a 5 gallon tank for 3 months, but he was by himself and he did perfectly fine. When I upgraded to my 29 gallon tank, he panicked and I almost lost him had it not been for the canister filter.
Another fish I own is a tomato clown named Bengal. Bengal was bought initially in hopes of knocking my chromis down a notch or two due to the chromis' agressive behavior. My clownfish is a little shy but he tends to hang out with the damsel and dogface a lot.
My last fish is a yellow tang (I know i know torture to have him in there) The way I figured it was better for him to be in a 29 gallon tank and be healthy than be in a 40 gallon and have severe ich and the fish store refusing to treat him. His name is Bubbles.
Here is my tank heiarchy:
Me--> Chrome--->Bubbles---->Cujo---->Bengal
I also have 12 moon snails, a turbo snail, 3 marsh periwinkles, 2 striped leg hermits, and a feather duster.
