Hello! I have joined this forum late in my own game...

For the last 3 years, I have kept three p. senegalus siblings...until recently.

I have joined this forum to find out what caused them to die, and to better educate myself. Last week I picked up some books on early fishes (right now I'm reading about the late devonian). Not certain where polypterus fits into the story, but they seem to be survivors.

Mostly my thing is graphic arts so I don't know how much advice I can give on fishkeeping. Thank you so much Blondie and everyone else for all of the valuable gathering of information. Here I was, calling them "bi*chers" at feeding time... :\

welcome to MFK.. nice to meet you..sorry about your loss... on the bottom of this page theres {a drop down }forum jump ....list of all the forums... you can click onto polypterus and meet up with beblondie and a whole bunch of other knowledgeable people on this species... and hope fully find out what happened.. good luck... and hope you get more asap... i have two bichirs and i love them...
