Havent posted much and when I did it was a few years ago when I had Dats & XL CLs. So after a couple of years in the Pleco wilderness I found myself heading into the exciiting world of bi-catch charicins.

It started when a close friend asked me to nurse his 8" flagtail prochilodus back to health after a week of jumping out and crashing into the glass, he settled in well and is now my show fish in the living room. I started collecting the un ID'd tetras that I could find and then trawling the web ID'ing them, some of them turned out to be nice, some nasty and 1 is an outright killer. So here's my list which will be shorter quite soon as I remove the smaller ones before the Brycon does it for me.

4 Triportheus Rotundus
4 Tetragonopterus Argenteus - a truely stunning characin!
1 Astyanax Bimaculatus
5 similar to A Bimaculatus from Venezuela
6 Moenkhausia Sp. Bolivia - very nasty
4 Ctenochalceus sp.
1 Tetragonepterus Sp.
1 Brycon Sp. Columbia 6" and growing! (poss Cephelas???)
Hoplias Malabracus/Microlepis 3"(the jury is still out)
Semiprochilodus Teaniolatus 9"
6-8 unknown characins
L190 Panaque
Black Ghost Knifefish

I have them in a Trigon 350 which I know isn't big enough for the larger fish but I will enjoy for a few months/years before they need re-homing. I only use the front bank of lights and have zip tied red tanglewood to the old tubes on the rear lights to give a dangling route effect (which the smaller tetras love to get in amongst. If anyone is interested in of the fish let me know as I will be re-shuffling quite soon to avoid the predators eating the smaller fish.

Anyway nice to meet you all (again)
