hi there everyone, im from malaysia... wondering anyone cud give me ideas n advise me - fyi i hav two female bonsai flowerhorns about 4.5'' size in two separate tanks. lately both my females are laying eggs i kindda feel bad coz i dont hav a male for them to mate.

few days ago i saw a beautiful baby male bonsai flowerhorn about 2.5" in a petshop. i know he is kindda young but thinking of getting him however im contemplating dis :

1. shud i just purchase him n put him in a tank w one of my female.? which means i will
hav 3 fishes... OR...
2. shud i trend in one female to the petshop (but i really love both of them already -
dis makes me feel really bad to give one away), and purchase him - which means
i maintain a pair only in a separate individual tank.?

can anyone help me w some gud advise and solution....?!?

If you want to keep both I would purchase another tank. That way you can keep both females, then be able to buy a male and put him in his own tank. You can then try adding a female into his tank with a divider first. If they pair off thats good, it will also mean you can get a male for the lone female in other tank.
