I'm from Cen Cal. And have always had tropical semi-aggressives but recently i picked up a Jack Dempsey that someone abbandoned at my local PetCo. Very new experience for me. I've got him all alone in a 55 gallon right now and am in the process of planning a sump filter for it.

I only use Petco and Armstrong's in Atwater. I've had problems with PetSmart. Got a fish from them once and it brought some ick with it...

It would bother me so much except that once I realized that there was a problem and treated for it it was too late and half my aquarium died so I went back to PetStupid and they didn't seem to care at all. Just said "Oh that sucks." The manager wouldn't even give my a refund for the fish I bought...

Awwe that sucks, especially when they give u such poor service after
I myself rarely go to petsmart and order petco over them. Petco is like a petsmart with better fish food haha and on occasion better service. So waddya raise?

My friend is one of the managers there so I always get good service. I was raising koi at the time of the ich attack. Now I've got a Jack Dempsey and a rainbow shark right now and am planning on adding a salvini soon
