Hello!I have been reading on your forums for a week or so and finally decided it was time to join in. A little about me and my newly found love of Aquarium ownership. Im a divorced 28 yr old fireman that work 24 on and 48 off. With all the downtime I was growing increasingly interested in haveing an aquarium. Well last week I bought a cheap 5 gallon kit and 2 peacock chiclids. Immediatley I was disappointed with the size so I went out just yestarday and got me a 20 gallon. Much Nicer especially after I included a newly purchased sucker fish, earth eater chiclid, and pacific chiclid. Have been enjoying messing with them and simply watching them. I look forward to reading and finding out many unknowns about aquariums and fish. My only prior knowledge comes from my parents who havent had fish in 20 years and they are blown away by advances in the technology. Please feel free to hit me up with pointers and corrections to any of my future post I have one major project in the works for now and that would be to come up with a cave system using slate.
