Hello everyone, I am Louise and i'm from just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland.
At the moment i have an 88 liter (that's 23gallon) tank.
I currently have one Blue Acara and his name is Odin, I originally bought two but the male bullied the female excessively so she now lives in a friends 4ft tank and is much happier there. I also have three tiger barbs in that tank, i bought nine to begin with and i think the survival of the fittest rule has left me with two females and one larger male. I bought two glass catfish recently, which are currently in my partners tank for safe keeping until they grow a bit, they are still pretty young and i didn't want Odin eating them, at £5 each that's an expensive lunch.
I'm aware that my Acara will get a lot bigger, and the tank he is in wont be spacious enough for long, the size of the tank probably added to the bullying of the female when i had her as well. I will be moving house soon though and hope to have a downstairs room in which i can put a bigger tank if needed. Perhaps, in time, i could try them both together again.
Any suggestions are completely welcome.
