just dropped in to say hello , i am just getting back into fish keeping i had a marine tank for years but got a bit fed up of it anyway i am giving cold water fish a go ,i am starting out with two ranchus they are only small so i have started with a 20 gal tank but i am going to go with a trickle filter , if they need a bigger tank i will get one we will see how it goes , i have loads to read to get back up to speed , thanks in advance for advice

thanks for the welcome , the tank i have came with a trickle filter as well as a under gravel , i am not to keen on the under gravel it just seems old hat and a pita to clean , the trickle filter i know will need to have a sponge prefilter to stop big lumps of poo going in there , but i feel its big enough for the job on its own without the under gravel , the trickle i have filled with fluval biomax , it calculates to having 69cubic feet of area ,, any thoughts ??
