Better say hello first as i have just joined the site lol need to know if i can build my new reef tank without the long glass weirs as i have these in my 5x2x2 set up and i am making up another tank hopefully with out weirs the new set up will have a sump has anyone built a tank without the long glass tank hoggers lol

This guy can explain better than me...But, simple answer, no, you dont need the space hogging boxes inside an aquarium for weirs to work successfuly.
