hello yall im new to mfk. i have a hundred gallon tank that i want to stock but i need yalls input on what to stock it with. I have had south american cics (oscars, red devils, jacks) but im looking to step it up and get a couple of monsters ( that can be happy in a 100 gallon tank) if yall could put some input in that would be great. i am deployed right now so i had time before i go back home. :nilly:

If you wanted a group in a 100 gallon tank I'd recommend looking at ancient fish such as birchirs. The three fish you mentioned (two are central american) would be hard pressed in a 100 unless they grew up together.
Mississippi probably restricts my next suggestion: snakeheads! There are some that are ok in groups.

Best bet would be to browse all the sections of the forum and see what catches your interest. There is really too much stuff to name and a lot of stuff that is completely different from everything else, so it really depends on what you're interested in.

Lots of catfish that will fit, and bichirs, ropefish. Personally I really like native fish. Are you looking for predators, a single big fish, a mix, or what?
