hello everyone I'm a farmer in MD and am pretty excited to be here was hoping for some help with a large mouth bass issue.
We recently had a bass "hatch" "clutch"??? (eggs hatched and now there are many MANY small basslings all around) in our pond on the farm. And were thinking it may be best for their survival to net some and raise the very tiny bass in some sort of aquarium to protect them from the far more populated sun fish until they can fend for themselves. Yet no one in the immediate family really knows the best way to go about this.
So what are everyone's thoughts on such an endeavor? I need to know everything from how many can go in a tank of a particular size, what size we can consider them safe from sunfish, what do they eat at such a small size and where we can get it, whats an ideal water temp, what kind of filtration system should we use, what type of lighting, Ph, so many and I'm sure I'll want to know more but thanks in advance for any help you can provide
