Well, I'm Claire, and I have a red oscar, who is actually more green/orange/purple really, and a plec living in what - by my standards - is the biggest tank in the world. When I bought both six weeks ago the oscar was a ragged 2" little scrap with HITH (monstrous for all the wrong reasons) and now she's about 5" - still not very monstrous, I know, but certainly quite boisterous, especially at mealtimes. Anyway, it's her job to keep me sane, and she's good at distracting me from less pressing issues, like my job.
