Just activated my account and thought a drop in a line. I've had this aquarium hobby for about 15 years, and have had several different tank setups, from basic freshwater to saltwater reef tanks. I've been a member of Aquaria Central for over a year, but had to join MFK since it fits what I've got going right now.
Ive had a spotted/florida (honestly don't know for sure, bought it as an aligator gar, but its not that) for about 7 years and an ornate bichir for a little under that. The gar is about 15 inches and the bichir is around 10, and they live together peacefully now in their 120g, but it was a struggle for the first few years trying to get the gar to mind his own business. Its fun though. Anyways, look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome to MFK. Hope to see some photos of your tank soon!
