Hello!

I'm not really a 'monster' fish keeper... my biggest tank is 15 whooping gallons and my biggest fish is my mighty female convict...(although I was informed she's probably a hybrid and thus her bright colors are explained..thus she is indeed mighty). I do keep and breed bettas, so what I lack in single huge-sized tanks of large angry fish I kinda make up for in sheer number of little tanks and jars of small and angry fish. :D

I have been coming to this forum off and on for a while, to learn about various fishes and setups... and to show my BF that I do not have that many fish and that my hobby has not taken over the house.. (yet :grinno:)

I just joined this forum to sign your petition against HR669. I figured it was worth it. It's badly written, poorly conceived and needs stopped.

Hi & welcome would love to see some picture's of your Betta's , ive never had much luck with keeping a pair together the females have turned aggresive toward's the males so i gave up & just kept a male.

Thanks for the greets! I shall post some pictures then. I'm still new to the breeding, but not the keeping, LOL

@ jo-jo The reason you had problems keeping a pair together is because you can't keep pairs together... unless you are set up for breeding. Then after they have bred you have to remove her or she will end up dead.

Sometimes you can keep 5+ females together in a ten or more gallon heavily planted tank, and sometimes you just end up with dead females. They are small, but aggresive to thier own.

Welcome! Being an MFK member is all about heart and desire, no need to have a HUGE tank to be part of the club!!!
