Hey everyone, I'm Ryan, from Wisconsin. I am obviously new to this forum, but not a new aquarium hobbyist. I love the creativity of building aquarium decor and design. I am, however, new to keeping predatory fish. I have a 6 gal nano reef tank that is going to be moved into a 45 gal tank, and will be a more friendly looking aquarium (girlfriend request).
I have a 75 gal freshwater tank that I want to turn into a predatory tank. Any and all info or advise is appreciated, especially when it comes to ideas of fish that look ridiculously creepy and are aggressive but could survive in the 75 gal tank for at least a year til I upgrade to the 125 gal. I've been considering needlefish, though the constant beak damaging from the sides of tanks is a deterrent.
So any ideas on creating an awesome, eerie, "stay away from the basement", fish friends?
Thanks!
Ryan
