Hi i am new!

Would these fish be peaceful enough in a 29 gal. community aquarium?

Acei
Blue Peaock
Ruby Red Peacock
Brichardi
Yellow Regal Peacock
Demasoni or Johanni
Afra
Kadango

List other "peaceful" fish please that would work!

This tank is not for breeding obviously, I just don't want any oberly dominate/aggressive males. WOuld any of the fish list be too aggressive?

Have lots of hiding places. caves and fake plants always help ..have a big enough tank..the 29 will work for awhile but as they grow they become more territorial. you may want to get at least a 55gal .. have all males... all the same size ...preferably baby or young.. and hope for the best.. africans are not normally what you consider peaceful.. they are fin nippers and chasers.. especially if females are around.. but they are always striving for dominance.. if raised together it may all work out fine.. seems once they have established thier pecking order and laid down rules.. calm prevails.. but just in case have a little tank ready for the guy who needs to have time out.. or to heal... africans are like this.. and it really depends on the individual behavior.the more africans you can add to the tank without overcrowding the better ..the confusion keeps them from bullying one fish... keep in mind ..the more fish in one tank the more water changes...you will get more response to your questions if i move this to african rift forum... which i will do..

29g is too small for those fish. Otherwise they would be fine.

tanks too small. stick to somthing like just a colony of pseudotropheus saulosi.

The johanni will end up killing everything in that tank. Drop that one.

Acei Gets big, even for a 55.
Blue Peaock Not sure what species, maybe Fryeri? These get big as well.
Ruby Red Peacock Relatively small. May work out short term.
Brichardi No way. These nasty guys are from Lake Tanganyika and are VERY aggressive when they pair up.
Yellow Regal Peacock Again, relatively small. May work out short term.
Demasoni or Johanni No johanni, however you can can keep a species only tank of demasoni, 12+
Afra This could work in a species only tank.
Kadango No. Get too big (8")

List other "peaceful" fish please that would work!

I would do a species only tank of either afra, or demasoni, or saulosi, or yellow labs.

brichardi and johanni are no's for the mix. For the size tank you have and those fish everything is a no as they all will get to big. You need a bigger tank. Yellow labs might work for awhile but a 29gal is just no that suitable..
