Feeder Fish

Hi All,
I have had large fish for many years but alas the longitivity of them has all been rather short due to various unforseen circumstances. So, finally, decided enough is enough and have decided to get serious about keeping these creatures I so adore around for a VERY LONG TIME. Brought a Bluegill back to El Paso Texas from Ky. 2 days in a 5 gal bucket with aerator. Doing very well but very needy seeing as he only eats live food and living in the desert does not allow for a steady supply of minnows. Worms, feeder gold fish crickets and meal worms eare what he eats and boy is he a pig. No wonder they are so easy to catch the way they hit the food lol.

I am a middle school special education teacher and scince I teach science I can have an aquarium. For the last 2 years I had some very large Oscars but alas, when I was on vacation this last summer they comited suicide by knocking the filter siphon off. By the time my friend discovere them they had succumbed to heat ond lack of oxygen. Very Sad.
But, alas, one door closes and a new one opens.

Set up a brand new tank, 2 Tiger Cichlids and 2 Jack Dempsey s with 1 [h=3]dinosaur bichir[/h] - . Using a a 29 gal tank but will move all to a 55 gal next year.

In addition have a turtle pond on the front porch with 2 good sized red ears. Very fun.

So,
This is me.
