I'm Xiangquan and I'm from Singapore. My areas of interest about fish-keeping are corydoras, tetras and aquascaping. Hope to learn more about fish-keeping from you guys here!!
My favorite corydoras are Corydoras Trilineatus, Corydoras Haraldschultzi. It is a pity that Singapore does not import many varieties of corydoras. Those common ones are Corydoras Aeneus and Corydoras Paleatus. Occaisonally, there are Corydoras Panda and Cory doras Trilineatus. Recently, there have been an increase in the supply of Corydoras Haraldschultzi. I'm not sure whether we have farms that bred them.
Oh, you mean the Exodon Paradoxus or the 'buck-toothed tetras'? I don't keep them. I saw some of them on sale here in Singapore. They are pretty neat. If I'm not wrong, they are notorious for ripping scales of other fish right?
I'm trying to get myself oriented here... Glad to know so many people here too.
Currently I have 40+ cardinal tetras, 5 Black Neons, 1 Rummynose (used to have 20+) and 14 + corydoras in a planted tank. I have not successfully bred any tetras yet. But I have successfully bred Bettas. I had so many that I have to give away. Anyway, I'm not keeping bettas anymore because they are not as lasting as the cardinals.
I have kept Rams before and they spawned. However, non of the eggs survived.
