This is my first visit. I just received my Christmas present from my hubby, a Nikon D80. I am SSSOOOOO LOVING it !!!!
I've been through the manual, have a basic understanding. I've taken over 1000 pics of my fishes in the last 3 days. I'm learning the focuses and ISO . I'm getting some good pics, I'm just starting. I want to learn EVERYTHING!
My friend Dean (Albertan on Albertaaquatica) has sent me here to be schooled in my new passion.
I'll be pouring over passed posts and going through this site to soak it all in. I'll gladly post pics I have .
I have several tanks/species, from swordtails to dovii. My best and most co-operative subject has been BigRed, my redhead cichlid. I think she sees her reflection on the lens and needs to investigate the peeking fish.
I'm also asking for your patience as I learn to use the features on this site.
I look forward to being an active member here and thank you in advance. Sue

Welcome to APF Sue. Nice camera to hone your aquatic photography skills with. Look forward to seeing your pets. As for learning your way around here, we're all willing to help you find your way.:-D

Welcome Sue! Glad you caught the photography bug, it is very addictive. Please be sure to share some of your shots.

Welcome to APF, Sue. That's a pretty little fellow in your photos. I'll bet he'll get the hang of posing very quickly.
