hello all...i have been browsing the site for a while now, sometimes linked from aquariacentral.com and have always found the information here to be rather helpful.

While aquatic photography is not something that i really plant to invest much time in  (because taking pictures of neons and platties - my fish stock - simply doesnt interest me at the current time. Maybe it will when i get more interesting fish), i do want to learn from all of the knowlege that i have seen on the forums.

one aspect about photography that i am seeking to learn more about is nighttime/low light photography....mainly due to my schedule...i have the most time to shoot when the sun is going away or has set many hours ago.

so here is the first shot that i will share! (i havent found anything stating that there are picture size limits so i just kept it at 400x400 for right now)
DSC_0041.JPG

NIKON D50
ISO: n/a (probably around 400?)
Exposure: 5.0 sec
Aperture: 13.0
Focal Length: 70mm
Flash Used: No

welcome chris. :)

keep posting and asking specific questions. you'll get more useful feedback that way.

you can double your photo sizes (800 x 800) imo. my eyes aren't what they used to be!
