I have tried to put my "hello" in the correct place, but not sure that I have succeeded. I am a new member to Monster Fish Keepers and I am new to posting on websites. My interest is that I have three large (or soon to be large) fish: one Oscar (just a three inch baby); one Ghost Knife (about 12" and approximately eleven years of age); and one Tiger Shovel Nose Catfish (about 18-20" and approximately two years of age). They are each the focus of three separate tanks. While I am no expert in anything, we (my more experienced partner and I) have really healthy fish that we want to keep it that way. Our TSN Catfish is essentially a rescue...a friend bought a fish that they had no idea would become this very large dude. We are also dog people.
When I registered, I was encouraged to introduce myself, but...I am not sure that I have done this in the correct place; moderator, please put me in the correct place. Everyone else out there...I am really interested in hearing about your experiences with Ghost Knives and with TSN Catfish...they really are unusual and wonderful fish. We hand feed our TSN and our baby Oscar and we are working towards handfeeding our Ghost Knife.
