HI all,
I have owned small tanks in the past, but just jumped into a used 60 gallon setup. It was absolutely filthy, scummy and nasty with hard water and yuk. Have spent the last couple of weeks cleaning it, and ordering new parts, bubblers etc. It came with a Marineland C360 canniister filter, which the guy had hooked up with a Turbo Twist UV.
"10 Minutes and you will have it all set up" he said…well, not the case.
I took it all apart and scrubbed, bought all new media, charcoal, etc etc, plopped it in the tank, watched the set up video for the 360 on the Youtube, pumped away on the button and ….nothing.
I have taken it apart, re-attached hoses, trimmed ends, tightened, …nothing.
Took the UV dooey off and tried without it, …nothing.
I don't have the outake tube for the filter, as it did not come with it, he must have pitched it once he hooked to the UV, is that critical to the filter suction? Ideas anyone?
