Help 1 1/2 bulkhead size ??

Hey everyone, trying to layout my tank setup

so I can place tank my order and finish phase one of construction.

I need the dimensions of a 1 1/2" bulkhead. How big of a hole is drilled, and how big is the bulkhead itself?? Need to know how close to the edge it will be, how close together etc etc.

Well, sittin here at a stand still till I get some info, so help me out.

For the hole size, I took one of my 1" bulkheads to the hardware store and picked the holesaw that was best suited for the bulkhead.

ty ,,,,they will drill the tank, i have to cut holes through the cabinet. they have to clear floor joists, so on and so on,,,,,, so i need to know how big a bulkhead is ie 1 1/2" bulkhead is 3" wide installed in 1 3/4" hole

You need to drill a 2 1/4" hole or 2 1/2" hole.

ty any idea how much bigger the bulkhead will be? I figure the seal is at least 1/2" so total size would be 3 1/2" ?

where ever you buy the bulkhead from will tell you what size hole is needed. Schedule 40 and 80 are different sizes also.

I am also purchasing some 1.5" bulkheads. I have noticed that they are all 1.5" but require different size holes. I have seen 2 1/4", 2 3/8", and 2 1/2" hole size needed.

anyone have some outside dimensions of the bulkhead itself?

Tank ppl will take care of the hole, I just need to know how close i can put them to the edge, and each other. The hole size is not as important now. I need to know an idea of how big the bulkhead itself is.
