rhode island of course
Ok im looking for a cool desktop pet to do...i was thinking of a colony of velvet ants, or some type of spider..i want something that doesnt need alot of light, and a fairly small tank....that is why i was thinking an invert...i would love a trapdoor spider..anyone now where i can get one..

Go out and catch something. Wolf spiders are cool. So are well fed praying mantis. I used to keep a female mantis loose on my windsill in a hibiscus plant. She lived a long time too....for a mantis.

a wolf spider ayy..maybe that would be cool..

yea i'd do a scorpion or maybe a pacman frog depending on how small you're looking to go........

i wanna stick with an invert..im think im gonna do some water beetles, and some other water bugs...i think that would be cool and simple

I am considering ordering in some active flat millipedes and maybe a hissing cockroach or two for my desktop setup. Have you considered a leaf bug, I heard they are more active than stick bugs. I find mantids to be too boring by themselves though.

what about velvet worms, they are really cool. Don't know what species you could get, but i've seen at least 2-3 different ones over the years, so...
very interesting predators.
