From beyond!
Hey im gonna be starting a 10 gallon planted tank but i dont know what filter, lighting, substrate, or anything else i might need so any recommendations would be great.

Alright iv been reading and for light fixture im gonna go with 24" GLO Dual T5 HO
2 x 24W Lighting System by hagen. Now my question is would anyone know if the stock lights that comes with are any good and if not what would be my best options?

not sure what bulbs that comes with, but for a freshwater planted tank you want the kelvin rating 10,000k or below

hmmm these would be my options and i have no idea what they are rated since it doesnt say on the page

Option 1:
1 x AquaSun 24W T5 Fluorescent Aquarium Lamps by UV Lighting
1 x Super Actinic R 24W T5 Fluorescent Aquarium Lamps by UV Lighting

Option 2:
1 x Actinic White 24W T5 Fluorescent Aquarium Lamps by UV Lighting
1 x Super Actinic R 24W T5 Fluorescent Aquarium Lamps by UV Lighting

Option 3:
1 x AquaSun 24W T5 Fluorescent Aquarium Lamps by UV Lighting
1 x Actinic White 24W T5 Fluorescent Aquarium Lamps by UV Lighting

Option 4:
2 x Planta 24W T5 Fluorescent Aquarium Lamps by Aqua Medic

I guess the Planta bulbs are 6500k, so good pick for planted tank. My personal preference is 6500k with 10k. You may need to just play with the different bulb colors to see what you like best, but like jcardona said stick between 6500k and 10k.
