I have two acei cichlids that are taking turns nipping at eachothers sides. One will just float there and let the other nip at its side, then the other will float and let the other nip at its side. Then every once in a while the bigger one will shake/vibrate and sometimes chases the smaller one afterwards. This is the first time i have seen them act this way but they have been doing it for the last few hours. Any ideas why they are doing what they are, and if it is a problem or not? Thanks in advance.
