I would not worry if FH is eating swimming normally, just keep up with your routine wc's.
Yeah. Its eating normally and even more aggressive and swims a lot than the other FH. I guess I should not worry.

I have to agree, I think this is the cause.Could be just aggressive behavior towards the Flowerhorn on the other side.
It's either an anal prolapse or it's a girl! Lol!UPDATE!!
There is a white stuff sprouting in the bottom of my FH. What is that? Is it also a display of its aggressiveness towards the other FH?
Or is it an illness? Is it bulging anus? How to cure?

Just wait. My bet is what you thought was a he is a she. Pics are kinda blurry. But I see what looks like an egg tube.![]()
It shouldn't be long. You might wake up tomorrow and see eggs! I've heard reports of people placing a ceramic plate adjacent to the divider and adjusting the flow so that the water moves towards the plate being successful. But I haven't done it that way myself. If its a she so then how long will it be till it lay eggs?
Is it possible for the flowerhorn to lay eggs even if there is a divider between my FH on the photo and the other FH in the tank?
My two FH have not come in close contact. Though both look at each other through the divider. The divider by the way has a very small gap in the bottom enough for the poop of that FH in the photo to pass through to the other side of the tank where the other FH and the filter is located. Is it possible for the two of them to breed in that way?![]()
