My flowerhorn is about 3 inches now. It will be 3 months old this coming Nov. 10.
I transferred it to a bigger tank two weeks ago. Since then, its color turns darker and darker everyday. He is very aggressive though as always. Eats a lot as always. And plays around the tank (goes up and down and swims fast) as always.
But the problem is my FH darkened and is vibrating/shivering at times and it is head standing sometimes.

The tank my FH is in now is divided into two. There is a bigger FH in the other side of the tank.
They were feed before with Humpy Head. But last Friday, I started feeding them with Ocean Free Super Red Syn. Their nuchal hump improve/grow when I started feeding them with SRS. But my FH color is still dark and vibrating/shivering and head standing sometimes.

Could my FH be sick? What is its illness? How can it be cured? PLEASE HELP! I need advice guys... :(:(:(:(

We need water parameters, tank size etc for us to help you we need that info

Tank size is 36x18x16. Weekly water change. Using 5in1 Water Pump Filter.
The section that my FH is in is 1/3 of the tank size.
Here are the photos of my FH.

Could be just aggressive behavior towards the Flowerhorn on the other side.

So its color will become normal again?
At the first three days, the two FH are somewhat fighting since they both bump on the glass that separates them. But after that, they seem not to care about each other's existence. They just peek at each other.

Thanks for the greeting! :D
I'm a newbie FH hobbyist! Just bought my FH last September 15, 2016.

I never owned a Flowerhorn but have had a few species of cichlids lol.:) If you have time browse the Forum for Cichlids or just type the word Flowerhorn in the search bar upper left corner, and there will be plenty of info and members experiences with FH.

Just browsed. Thread says that the darkening could mean the FH is a fader. I really can't identify if it's a fader though.
My FH doesn't seem to be weak at all, so it is not stressed I guess. It eats a lot.

But the shaking/vibrating/shivering behavior of my FH, I didn't found any thread about it. :(

I would not worry if FH is eating swimming normally, just keep up with your routine wc's.
