This whitish, fleshy growth grows and spreads daily from wounds. On the lower jaw, dorsal fins, side of body. I've tried a salt concentration 3tsp/gallon currently (whole tank) methylene blue baths/dips & swabs after scrapping off the growths. Just grow back within a couple of ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1345526882.803216.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1345526893.443754.jpgdays. Datnoid is 2.5", still eats though, market prawns. Please, need advice.

Hmmm. If its eating, it should be fine. Keep the temp high, more salt, add melafix & keep the lights off. U hav any other fish in the tank?

I got an issue w/ my flagtail too. Whitish stuff on his head & eye area

Put in a medicine tank so it wont spread to other fish & fyi, its hard to keep small dats alive once they get sick

I would just do a couple 50% WC's along with moderate amount of aquarium salt. Also, he looks a bit malnurished. You say he's eating, but it doesn't really look it. The lack of a full belly is not gd for his immune system. I'm not a big fan of market shrimp only for young dats especially. I would see if he takes maybe some black worms or gut loaded guppies or small rosy reds for a week or so, along with the WC's. Don't overmedicate him. This will finish him off quickly. gd luck

If you have a medical tank put the dat in there and try to use fungus treatment for it and do about a 20-30% waterchange everyday

Yeah, get a good anti fungal med and keep the water clean....and find out whom is doing the bullying and causing the wounds.

Change water and wash your filter. Those shrimp debris got trapped in the filter spoil your water. There was a type of medicine I used, but I can't remember the name atm, but Jungle Fungus Rid is my second choice
