Help air pump related

I bought this T shapes connector home for my air pump to run 2 outlet .
In the end only one was running and the other one seems to be sucking in some water.
Any advice how I can make both work?

maybe try a couple of check valves one for each of your outlets should stop it for you

how did you run the line? put the air pump on the base of the T and the tanks to the sides.
I prefer Air Control Valves. I have the smallest tetra air pump aerating 4 different tanks with no problems.

It could be that your air pump isnt powerful enough to pump air all the way through both lines. If the air stone is deeper than the pump is designed to handle than it may pump air through the path of lease resistance. I think a check valve will stop water from flowing into your air pump, but it wont reverse the flow to force air out. From what I can tell you may just need a more powerful air pump
