I am of course new here, and having problems.. :screwy:I appologize if this is the wrong place to post this.. The day or two after I joined, I ran across something, not in the conversions page, that showed a way to calculate how much water your pond holds.. It had a formula to check how long it took to fill up a 5gal bucket then how long it took for that flow of water to fill a bucket... help! I can't find it and need to read it again / take notes..

TYIA :)

As I said, it isn't on that conversions / calculations page.. I did try a google search and can't find it that way either... Thanks anyway..

That conversion/calc. sounds like flow rate, not a way to figure actual gals.

I never saw it...

Somebody show me that post...If the formula is good I'll make it a sticky.

Really sorry if I caused confusion.. I have looked at so many calculators / websites since I started my research for the pond that I may be talking about it on the wrong site... but the thread I saw, where ever it was lol, said that you could fill from your hose a 5 gal bucket and keep up with how many seconds it took to fill it, then count the seconds to fill up the pond. The post had some little formula for figuring the seconds to fill bucket compared to pond.. I am sure I can just figure it out from there, but I wanted to see again the actual formula that who-ever it was had written out..

I have google searched every variation of "pond fill hose bucket seconds formula" that I can think of..lol but getting nothing.. And I tried to search here too.. but of course couldn't find it..

Again, I thank you all for your help though :)
