Help are these good quality fish?

I found these at PetSmart a salvini and fowerhorn, right now I have a carpintis and these fish look Amazing! Salvini is $2.50 and flowerhorn is $15. Is this a good pickup? I can't seem to resist

I couldn't tell you. I don't have much experience with them.

I'd definitely pick one up if I seen one though.

I can't comment on the FH, but the sal male is a little washed out looking. He might color up a good bit in a different environment.He looks very healthy, may be worth the $2.50 investment if you want to keep one. They are not community fish, and can take out larger fish since they never give up..

Salvini , looks really good , even the fins are not torn.
Guess , a real good home will do wonders
