Like the title says which should I use ? My fish both have the white stringy poo and are flashing a lot. It doesn't appear to be ich however as I cannot see white spots. :nilly:

I'm not an expert but I believe the flashing is from gill flukes. Like fleas on a dog. Not dangerous but can give secondary infections. The white poo is internal parasites. You would need to put the poo under a microscope to figure out which parasite.

I would go with this medication if it were my fish.

Flubenol 15 by ? (?) - Flubendazole (produced from flubenol. Premix containing flubendazole 50%). Treats: flukes, camulanus worms, tapeworms, and other internal parasites.
Note: WILL kill snails.

Thank you. I fed them some of the fish food treatment for the internal parasites and treated the water with rid fungus. They seem to be alot better now lol. my water looks like it has tannins i like the look strangely.

BUMP I started using the rid fungus 5 ml to ten gallons last night. And my Jack dempsey has his top fin down and is flashing, IE glancing scratching on the rocks quite a bit. is salt safe for a bichir a jack dempsey and a blue acara? What do you guys reccomend ? All I have in the med cabinet is rid ich tablets from jungle , rid fungus , And quick cure. What should I use ? Please help out fellas

quick cure it is :( Thanks for the advice

I'd isolate the fish and treat with something strong like Clout, or treat the whole system if the infestation is severe

Its hard to tell but the blue acara and bichir don't seem to have it. Just the jack dempsey :irked: he is about 4 days old now though and a petsmart fish... I think I would rather treat the whole system in case my other fish get it or its contagious. If I lost my bichir or acara I would be absolutely devastated

This is the first time I did not quarantine a fish for a full month. I cant believe my freaking luck :(
