Like fleas on a dog. Not dangerous but can give secondary infections. The white poo is internal parasites. You would need to put the poo under a microscope to figure out which parasite.
I would go with this medication if it were my fish.
Flubenol 15 by ? (?) - Flubendazole (produced from flubenol. Premix containing flubendazole 50%). Treats: flukes, camulanus worms, tapeworms, and other internal parasites.
Note: WILL kill snails.

he is about 4 days old now though and a petsmart fish... I think I would rather treat the whole system in case my other fish get it or its contagious. If I lost my bichir or acara I would be absolutely devastated
