I posted a thread about a month ago about this spot on one of my male rays and was told that it looked like a nip from my other male ray and not to worry about it. But in the last couple of days there is now the same spot on his other side and it's bigger. He has also started to stay in this back corner of the tank, which is really odd for him b/c he is the more active of the two rays. :( Thanks for the opinions.

water params?

looks like a very small tank w too many obsticles.

That's just the corner. The tank is a 120 at the moment. I haven't tested the prams since last night. I will go test them again hold on.

Yeah a little snowball. Would he just start to do this even if they have been together the whole time?

My water prams are
Ph - 7.8
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrite - 0ppm
Nitrate - between 20 to 40 ppm, which I know is high and I just did a 50% water change last night.

So you don't think it is from the pleco? He has been with my other ray for a little over a year, why would he start this all of a sudden?

As others have no doubt said before, you will need a larger tank for the rays. I have a 6' x 3' tank for my 2 rays and I am worrying that it will be too small when they are full grown. Maybe with a larger tank, the rays can get away from each other better when they are hassled by tankmates.

I am well aware that my rays will need a bigger tank as soon as money allows they will have one. My main concern is what is going on with my ray.
