Hey everybody, Hurricane Sandy hit yesterday so my aunts fish tank has know power since yesterday

She just told me her tank is at 66 degrees! Is thier anything she can do to heat up the water in the meantime? Tomorrow she will be putting her fish in my tank

She can be transferring warm buckets of water that are declohrinated and safe for the fish. I saw something that said float a hot bucket of water on the top of the water until the temperature is reached, then take the bucket out.

Thanks for the tip I just told her, i left out that its a marine set up.. so the idea of the bucket in tank with hot water should work. Thanks!!

I used a small oil lantern under my tank during a previous storm. Just keep an eye on it. Don't want to have a fire and no electricity.
