Help trying to silicone a piece of wood to glass so it wont fall over, but it wont stick need help asap.

help me the stump is an integral part of my design. I really want to get this tank cycled and ready

Patience is a virtue. You may have to wait until someone with this knowledge reads your post. Alternatively, you can skim the DIY section instead of waiting for an answer.

I know but when i have seen the fish i want i cant stand waiting to get them

Even if you get your sump done, you'd have to cycle the tank for a while or you'll get the fish you want and see them dead in your tank.

when skimming the DIY section i saw a couple of posts where people said it could be done, if not how does everyone else get pieces to stand up without being knocked by big fish

Put a little silicone on your finger and rub it into the grain of the wood where you want it to stick. Then apply more and try it again. I don't know if it will work, but thats what I'd try.

get a little glass plate cut with two holes . the bolt onto wood with stainless steel screws .then silicon to glass . or bolt it to a slate base

If you're talking about the plywood tanks, the silicon is applied to the front window so it will not fall in. When the tank is full, the pressure of the water presses the glass pane outwards.
