Baby Green Iguana
Let me make it straight to the point. I saw this baby Green Iguana at the petstore earlier. Just 6-7 inches in length, prisoned in an extremely small dirty plastic aquarium, the baby Iguana could not move a little further even!
The aquarium was so small and dirty that it looked as if the Iguana was choking! Iguana is dirty with a half crooked tail. When it saw me, it started scratching at the aquarium as if asking me to help it...broke my heart. No sunlight nor full spectrum lighting is provided and definitely no calcium supplement either. I can't believe this ignorance! Doing only for money!
This green child is being sold for 150 Malaysian Ringgit. Man my heart says ,"GET IT NOW! SAVE IT!"
My problems and ideas for them:
-I have no space for an Iguana Terrarium, I can let it free roam my room first since it is just 6-7 inches in length.
-I can take it out to provide natural sunlight or at the balcony safely.
-I have vegetables and fruits ( will check online for the required vegetables and fruits ) and I have the sera calcium supplement with me as well since I have a Leopard Gecko.
---------
What do you think? Should I attempt at saving this green child or should I give it up? My heart says go for it...but I need advice. Thank you for your time!
