does anyone have this protein skimmer? I have a question. I dropped the collection cup and i think it may have cracked i see no leaking. Now the protein skimmer doesnt seem to be collecting as much protein as before. Any tips? Also i have to clean the pump any directions?

well as far as cleaning the pump, its as simple as disconnecting the pump from the skimmer, and cleaning it as best you can. Try to remove the impeller etc and get all of the nice in clean.
The collection cup, im not to sure on there design, but you deff want to make sure it seats correctly and there is no air leak. In my AquaC EV skimmer, this can cause a huge difference in how it will skim and how fast lol. A few pics might help the process but i would either PM BigG or even pufferpunk, because as far as i know, both of them own the unit, and either should be able to answer any questions you have.

thanks for the tips guys appreciate it, I will clean pump, there does not seem to be any obvious leaks in the collection cup so i doubt its that.
figured out the problem it was the bubble intake which is controlled by the air valve.
