Alright so moving some rocks adding a power head to help keep the water moving even more and torpedo hit to top of the tank ledge, can't wait to have him back in an acrylic tank and not a glass tank, well I think it would not have happened in an acrylic tank, OUCH ouch and I'm pissed, seems like I do more damage trying to make a better habitat than just letting everything be.

Do I just leave it or should I do something to help this guy, he is about 12 inches. Real nice fish would hate something to happen worse than it already is. IMG_20120418_173612.jpgIMG_20120418_173502.jpguploadfromtaptalk1333377562395.jpgIMG_1711.JPGIMG_1714.JPG

I just moved some of my 7 inch bass 100 feet to a new tank. They both got a lil cloudy eye from injuries i guess. The tank was full of rock and they were just bombing into the large rock. But a few hours later and their eyes are cystal clear

ya cloudy eye goes away after a little salt helps with that, mostly just the move can stress them and water changes, but this to me is much worse I mean that's a large gash, I would be bleeding like crazy if it was me. So I just wanted to know if I should just do the norm of salt and more heat or get some other meds :) Hope he or she is back to old self again in no time. Poor fish then again poor me for being worried a bunch now

. Just do more water changes and salt. Feed less then normal while he is healing.

just leave him be. keep up on the waterchanges, aquarium salt, 86F+. If its not getting better after a week, use melafix

Keep up with water changes and don't be scared to add extra salt. The salt will help heal and keep infection away. Poor lil dude..:(

Little for now, :D this bass is the largest I have right now, my smallest bass has started to learn that eating is good stuff and is growing like crazy, passed up the medium size one, unless the others start to fight more for the food he will probably out grow them both at this rate.

I was wondering when you were going to chime in.

Is that a good thing or bad :)
