Hay i just got a flameback like this one but he wouldn't stop chasing my earth eater , so i put him in his own tank. what can i do. It was in a 30 long with lots of plants, apot, and two rock caves can you help.

well its a problem when something chases something else
but its worse when something small chases something big
that means the earth eater can hide
other that getting a bigger tank you can get more flame backs or another earth eater
to share the abuse

the flameback is only a little smaller and the eartheater was in the tank first. also i can't get a bigger tank yet.

I think the only solution is to get a bigger tank and more fish for your little bully to spread his anger among.

Add more dithers. Either get more earth eaters or get some girl flame backs for the guy to bug.
