Man, my little brother bought these piranha's about two in a half years ago so they've gotten pretty big. He is no longer with us so my older brother and myself have been tryin to maitain the tank. I've just noticed that there is a rather large white dot on on largest ones head. Does anyone know what this might be? Any help would be appreicated.
Is the dot sunken, raised, fuzzy, irregular, crusty, glistening, etc? Each of these means something different so we need more info. How long has it been there? A pic would help.
My red belly has a similar problem. It has a white dot on what I would call his chin. It looks like a zit. It got prety big then shrank a little. I have no idea what it is!

jmando your fish simply has what alot of people call a "chimple." It is causeed from the fish rubbing his nose on the glass too much. It could mean your tank is too small. The chimple will go away once he stops rubbing the glass.
Definately the fish hitting and rubbing against the glass like mentioned earlier. I had P's that would dart really fast when scared. It'll cause that "zit" it'll go away fairly quickly.
