The little guy was probably looking for a hiding place, not that he doesn't already have some. He must've pulled off the strainer somehow and then the water suction did the rest. It's a 1" pvc pipe; he's probably stuck at one the elbows. My first thought is to cap that inlet off, cut the pipe at the first elbow and at the tee, then cap that and run off the other o/f til I get him out. Any other ideas?:nilly: :nilly: I have already removed the section in the tank, not there. So he's on the backside of the o/f, somewhere...:irked:

that sound kike your best bet

I cut off the o/f on that side, found where he was and cut away enough pipe to drag him out. He was still alive minus a leg or two, but otherwise o.k I then put him back in the tank and re-assembled the o/f. When I looked back in the tank all I saw of him was his two front claws...:swear: :swear: :swear: Apparently, he was a little more wore out than I thought and the other fish picked up on his condition...I don't know who the culprits were; my pacus or oscars:irked: :irked: :irked: I was not happy to say the least; all that effort had paid off, only to end up as lunch...
