all the other fish are healthy by the way they are all swimming including the hippo every other level is fine i dunno whats going on im deffinatly panicing tho this is my first marine tank and ive only had it for about 2-3 montsh

The salinity is probably from evaporation. Did your house get really hot today? Do you have halide lighting? An increase in temp. could have killed something, along with low dissolved oxygen.

it is a reef tank its a 75 gal i did turn up the temp on the heater the past few days cus we kicked in the ac at my house cus its really hot out but it only went up one degree 80 to 81 i have a fluval 405 should i do a water change??? THANK YOU for getting back to me i was about to go crazy

let me correct myself it is ment to be a reef tank but i only have a frogspawn coral and a condy in it along with a yellow tang and hippo and two perculas skunk shrimp and pepermint shrimp

And slightly off topic, but I recommend anyone with a saltwater tank also register of Reef Frontiers. Its free & good info.

yeah i have bin seeing that thanks for reffering it to me anyways back to the subject what should i do i have work early in the morning and dont know if i should do the water change or not
