help breeding bristle nose catfish

Ps iv been told bristle noses are horn bags my mate who owned a FS told me his used to breed every time he did a water change whether or not they hatched is a different story but thats what he said.
 
You might come out with some Calico offspring. Look at planetcatfish.com to find out about breeding... just make sure you know the L#s
 
You won;t get any calico offsprings thats for sure. you will get a mix batch or longfin brown and regular browns. If the female has albino gene then you will get a mix of everything albinos , lf albino, brown, and longfin browns but no calicos. Make sure you have lots of oxygen. Feed them a lot and a lot of water changes that will do the trick. O yea and one thing that works great for me keep the temp at 80 feed them well. When the female is nice and pluck do a large water change and drop the temp to 74-76. You will get a spawn if your male is ready
