Help breeding Long-finned Zebra Danios

A friend of mine got me 3 Zebra Danios for $5. I requested for 2 females and a male but it seems that I have the opposite - I think. Been trying to breed them but to no avail. They're currently in a 1 gallon tub with an air tube, gravels are at an inch deep and water level is at an inch deep as well.

Gosh, I was gonna check out whether I needed to cover the tub and got my answer a minute later when one of them plunged a metre down and I found it on my floor. Hope it survives.

Anyway, is my setup alright? It's been 2 days and still nothing. Any tips?

Oh yea, they seem to change colour. Is this normal? They're white at night and blue in the morning..

no offense but that is a horrible set up for them!! IMO i wouldn't use anything smaller then a 20 gallon for those guys in general. my danios spawn almost everyday, they are group spawners so they do it all together, get acouple more, a real tank, a heater, and at least a hob filter, then pm me and i will tell you a fool proof way to breed them
