So I bought this 2217 new (don't remember where) something like a year ago. I had planned on putting it on one of my newer (at the time) tanks, but ended up putting it in storage because we ended up selling our house.

We've just bought a new house and got moved in, and I'm finally getting around to setting up this tank. I unpacked the 2217 this morning, and the hose connector at the bottom of the canister is broken off.

I've been searching online, but so far I've been able to find every replacement part BUT the canister body itself.

Two questions:
1. Does anyone know where I can buy a new canister body?
2. Does anyone know if I can repair the one I have somehow? I don't know if I can use WeldOn to weld the plastic back together, or just silicone the crap out of it, or if its just a lost cause at this point.

Thanks,
Conner

Wont trust any welding. Pressure builds around the canister especially when tuned off. If your lfs doesnt have it just get a new one. They are worth it.

Well, I just found the canister replacement. $60 on Amazon.

Before I buy it, has anyone found a way to fix this? Returning it is not possible, due to the time frame involved, and the fact that I don't even remember where I bought it.

I actually just found that myself. Much cheaper. I'm going ahead and buying it, plus some clips and another threaded inlet connecter (just to be safe).
