hi there, i was plannig to lower the level in my rio 180 for my new archer fish, but i cannot lower the water below the filter bits... now i was wondeirng if this internal filter, which is somehow attached can be removed without damaging either the tank or filter? and also will it work on its side in the water... anone any idea? thnks very much.

going to post some pics today some time... when i can find my dam camera... lol.
But i have seen that the filter seems to be glued to the glass wall of the tank, and i was wondering if anyone has had any experience of 'ripping' of glued attatchments off the glass wall? If so that would be awsome... coz then i can just lie it flat on the bottom of the tank...
Also does anyone know if the internal filters in the Juwel tanks... it's the JUWEL Filter System: Compact, well, i notice that the top of it has one of those sets of grills, well are these sucking in, im assuming all the grills suck in... and the little tube at the top where the filtered water comes out... so if any of this makes sense... then i can just leave the top grill out of the water and just the bottom grills will filter the water... omg i have just looked at this post and, well... hmm..... lol, if anyone can read AND understand this, please relpy, lol, you mihgt be able to re-write in simpler words... thanks everyone for trying... cheers :)
