Help! can only choose one ...

i'm really torn between the two( Jaguar and midas cichlid) i have a few empty tanks 200 and lower so size is no problem aha . i wanna pair, i will be getting a 500 gallon in summer btw. what would you choose midas pairr or jag pair? which one looks better? what one if worth it?

I have a male jaguar and he is an awesome fish with an amazing personality. Midas' have cool personalities but their colors and patterns bore me

i like midas personality better. i had several jags in the past and recently got rid of my 10in male because he was too boring. midas move around more and most if not all follow u around constantly.

If you can get pure midas from Rapps or another trust worthy vendor then you could make a little money on the side with the young if you chose a midas pair. Probably not enough to quit your job but I would imagine enough to contribute to the pair's food, living space and maybe a little pocket money.

Another plus for midas is that you never know what you are going to get with regards to pattern/colour if you get a bunch of them young and let them grow and pair off. Jaguars, however great they are, are quite similar to each other.
