i am looking at getting a nice sized tank possibly 55g-100g. what should i stock it with? thought about africans-central americans- or natives? if i get africans it would be malwains with rocks and caves- if CA it would be jd's and those big guys and if natives it would be minnows, small sunfish craws maybe like a whole ecosystem in the tank.
ooo and for my 20L Freshwater flounder? gsps? shellies? other?

thank you all for voting and people that will soon vote. looks like it will be africans in the 55+ and the 20L i guess it will wait? now what type of africans? sizing for a 55g tank for room if i get more than a 55

i said africans mainly because a lot of central americans get big except for the o-so overrated cons firemouths etc....
you can do a variety of africans and even breed them if you want, then again, thats just my opinion.

mbunas with lots of rock and aragonite sand as substrate.a mix of melanochromis and pseudotropheus species along with a syno cat.

africans cause you could have so many, and the tank would be so lively. i agree with lots of caves and slate and lots of fish. malawi mbuna

make sure you put some flower pots in there. It gives a good luck and plus they will most likley breed in there. Good Luck.
